Enhance the acute care medical surge capacity through the maintenance and growth of strong HCCs in Ohio. - The activities outlined in this application are designed to build acute care medical surge capacity in Ohio with focus on objectives and activities that advance progress toward meeting the goal of maintaining response-ready health care systems through strong HCCs. ODH’s work plan is aligned with the objectives and activities of the HPP Notice of Funding Opportunity with the goal of preparing the health care delivery system to save lives during emergencies. ODH will support HCCs in addressing community needs, building connectivity among HCCs, public health, and coalition members, and enabling the health care delivery system to ensure continuity of care during a disaster or emergency.
